This Winter the key must have items at GLUE Store include hooded jackets and jumpers, logoed tees, camo print and khaki, muscles tanks, bomber jackets, dresses and of course plenty of denim all available in this seasons key colours, prints and textures. Season trends in the range focus on 90s and military grunge as well as monochrome, modern prep, lumberjack, baroque and sports luxe (my fave).

All of these new season trends are reflected in GLUE Stores Winter campaign UNCOVER YOU, which launched in the last week of April. Sydney based photographers Life without Andy shot the campaign which has a focus on core trends and sets out to uncover who we are so we can uncover you with one of our key looks. Several GLUE Store staff members are featured in the campaign which was styled by both GLUE Store buyers and Sydney stylist, Jess Roberts. Needless to say the outfit lineup invokes an immediate “must have” reaction to just about every piece with even the trickiest of trends made youthful, wearable and cool.

The label’s focus is on intelligent adaptations of classic styles, and in producing well-constructed garments designed and made in Melbourne. A desire to create basics that aren’t so basic is at the core of the label’s philosophy. It’s a belief that well made clothes last for season after season, and that subtle and intriguing details in the design make them favourites amongst the wearer’s wardrobe. This fine balance that exists within the design of the garments is equal parts classic and intriguing, and goes hand in hand with the theme of dual perception that extends through every collection… it’s a sense that all appears simple on the surface, but when looked at with intent or in another way, garments can take on a different appearance.
