LFW: Willow

Last week, Australian designer Kit Willow-Podgornik returned to LFW (for the first time since 2004), to unveil her SS13 collection Dream Possession.

The collection was a return to the designer’s roots – with signature corsets, built-in bras and the exposure of undergarments featuring throughout the show amoungst beige, mint and red/orange colour palettes. The London Daily Telegraph describes the new collection as “part rock-chick/Goth, part Bondi socialite”.

Kit Willow is fascinated by juxtapositions that have become signature to her tailoring, silk drapery and corsetry. WILLOW has developed a cult following and is recognised for the consistency in inspiring design and quality of garment finish.
