STYLE: Karen Walker home collection

Posted by: Emily Collie    Tags:  home collection, Karen Walker, Myer, style    Posted date:  September 13, 2012  |  No comment

This spring summer Karen Walker is launching Karen Walker Home.

This is Karen’s first range of homewares and it is exclusive to Myer stores nationally.

For Karen Walker Home, Karen’s brought the style she’s famous for with her apparel, eyewear and fine jewellery lines into the home with a collection that captures her signature style of whimsy, fun and effortlessness.

Karen Walker Home uses as its starting point Karen’s focus on print and colour. All the pieces in the range feature Karen Walker iconography or signature prints from past collections reworked for this new medium. The colour palette uses Karen’s signature cream, navy and scarlet throughout but adds to it the unexpected and idiosyncratic colour mixes she’s also known for.

The bed linen comes in four different prints and is made from a cotton fibre 400 thread count. The beach towels are generously oversized and made from a rich velour cotton with loveable jacquard designs. The cushions come in four different signature motifs and colours and are also made from cotton. Finally, the mugs are made from fine bone china with signature Karen Walker metallic motifs – matching the cushions, they are the perfect gift idea!

Head into Myer now to check out the bed linen and beach towel ranges. The cushions and mugs will be available in Myer stores nationally from October.

For stockist details visit myer.com.au or call 1800 811 611.

Enjoy, melbgirl x
