BLOGGER STYLE SERIES – Lisa Hamilton

Posted by: Emily Collie    Tags:  BLOGGER STYLE SERIES, lisa hamilton, melbgirl, see want shop    Posted date:  August 23, 2012  |  No comment

Now in it’s fourth week, the Melbourne Girl BLOGGER STYLE SERIES has already showcased five of my fave other Melbourne bloggers.

Today, I’d love to introduce you to the 6th blogger we are profiling – the gorgeous Lisa Hamilton from seewantshop.blogspot.com.au

Check out the interview and some of Lisa’s stylish photos below:

Please tell us about yourself and when you started blogging >

I have always been an avid shopper and fashion lover but my desire to blog about it developed when I moved to London early last year. Living in a global fashion capital and travelling around Europe inspired me to explore new designers and styles. I also developed an addiction to online shopping so, upon returning to Melbourne, I decided to create my blog,  See Want Shop.

How would you describe your style >

I would describe my style as classic but edgy. My wardrobe staple is a great fitting pair of jeans which I can easily dress up with a killer pair of strappy heels or dress down with a plain white tee. I also love a statement blazer, you can throw one over practically everything.

Who inspires your wardrobe and why >

I love Kate Bosworth’s style. She always looks effortless and, like me, loves to dress it up in a classic little black dress. I also draw inspiration from Scandinavian bloggers. They seem to tap into a unique style over there which is creative and incredible in itself.

Three must-have items for Spring/Summer >

A neon piece. Whether it be a necklace, tee, bag or pair of heels, the pop of colour is eye-catching and on-trend. I also suggest investing in a decent fedora hat. They are perfect to tame unruly beach hair and look super chic. Thirdly, a pair of denim cutoffs are essential for Summer (and in as many colours as possible)!

Who are your favorite Aussie and International designers >

My favourite Australian designers are Viktoria and Woods, Nobody Denim, Sass & Bide and Ellery. I adore ALL their pieces. Internationally, I love Acne, Isabel Marant, H&M and Zara.

A big thanks to Lisa for her time chatting to melbgirl x
