FASHION: eBay’s Fashion Gallery

Posted by: Laura    Tags:  eBay Fashion Gallery, FASHION, Online Shopping    Posted date:  June 12, 2012  |  No comment

eBay has been featuring in the glossies recently. If you happen to have missed the full-paged advertisements in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, there is a new (and rather funky) online store called eBay Fashion Gallery.

This is not your typical eBay, either. The Fashion Gallery is more like an online department store – think Net-a-Porter, not Gumtree. It has an elegant and easy-to-use layout, taking the concept of online shopping to a new level on eBay.

I was dubious when I first saw the advertisements and received the promotional email from eBay itself. But when you actually jump online and take a look, oh my! The goodies they have for sale are unbelievable, and often at cut prices too.

There are some great brand names in the mix as well – the Alannah Hill range was enough to make me drool. (The detailing on Alannah Hill gets me every time!)

But other brands such as Seafolly, Bardot, Mimco, Pilgrim and Marcs also make an appearance. (If you look hard enough you can even find perfumes and smaller items by brands such as DKNY, Gucci and other upper-end designers.)

The Fashion Gallery appears to have everything you could ever want. It’s a mix of sale items and new season stock, so there are clothes and accessories to match every season around the world. The best part of that is, we can get the European summer looks for a quarter of the price before our summer even begins!

It all sounds like a win-win situation to me. And you can buy a whole new wardrobe at home in your PJs!
