For six years now, Cosmo have been honouring incredible women and shining a spotlight on the achievements that make them so inspiring. From entrepreneurs and actresses, to scientists and singers, each year exposes a talented crop of fearless females who are excelling in their chosen field. Like years past, there are 11 categories: actress, singer, TV personality, radio host, sportswoman, author, fashion designer, rising star, blogger, inspirational role model and entrepreneur.

The top three finalists in each category will be announced in our September issue, and the winners will be announced at the Cosmo VIP party in September, including the Woman of the Year, who receives a $10,000 cheque thanks to awards sponsor Pandora.

Steph Hickey is a champion female snowboarder, she is ranked top 20 in the world.

Steph is now making a comeback after breaking her back.

She is a Winter Olympian and an ambassador for Billabong.

I met Steph 2 years ago when I flew to the Gold Coast for the Billabong Hi-Summer collection preview. She is a gorgeous and proud Australian ambassador, who works tirelessly for the sport she loves!
