On Tuesday night, the Joey Scandizzo Melbourne Flagship Salon launched with a very loud bang, with over 300 guests filling the salon to celebrate and spilling out into the rear courtyard.

Australian Hairdresser of the Year for the past two consecutive year, Joey Scandizzo’s unprecedented success has earned him an international reputation as a key industry mentor, educator and visionary. In 2011, Joey has taken his creativity to a new level with the launch of the flagship salon. From executing the perfect bob, styling for TV and fashion runways, to leading a team of stars, he does so with a passion that is an inspiration in itself.

The launch event was styled by Melbourne event planners The Style Co; included a long list of sponsors (inc Crust Pizza, Kevin Murphy, Peroni, Four Sisters, DQ Vodka, Magnum Temptation, and Eff Juice); welcomed a lengthy guest list (which included Melbourne TV personalities and models); and was hosted late into the night by TV host and DJ Ruby Rose.
